Doris Brocker

Studied law at Cologne University and completed the second state law exam in 1985. After various positions outside the media sector, Doris Brocker has been working at the Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (formerly Broadcasting Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia) since 1992 (LfM), firstly as legal consultant, later as head of the law division. Since 1999 she has been legal advisor and, since July 2012, associate director of the LfM. She is co-author of the Praxishandbuch Medien, IT- und Urheberrecht (a media, IT and copyright law practice handbook) edited by Prof. Dr. Rolf Schwartmann and the commentary edited by Prof. Dr. Rolf Schwartmann and Prof. Dr. Stefan Sporn on the North Rhine-Westphalian state media law.
